You approach your car, eager to escape the heat/humidity/sun, only to realize with a sinking feeling that your keys are locked/trapped/inside. Suddenly, your carefully laid plans/schedule/arrangements are thrown into chaos. What do you do/try/attempt? Panic is a natural reaction, but before you resort to breaking/smashing/damaging your vehicle's windows, consider these options/alternatives/solutions.

Car Key Catastrophe: Help, I'm Locked Out!

Ugh, it occurred again! My car lockset is missing. It seems like I've lost them yet once more. Now, here I am, stranded outside my own vehicle with a rapidly shrinking amount of patience. Seriously, what?! The thought of calling a locksmith is dreadful, and I'm absolutely late for my meeting.

Well, this just happened... I locked the car door and realized my keys are inside inside! Of course this had to happen on a beautiful day like today. I twitched the handle a few times but it's stuck. Time to make a call.

Well, we woke up feeling like a million bucks, ready for a enjoyable day. But Murphy's Law had other plans! Not only did I/we find the house door firmly shut, but the car was locked tight. Now here I am feeling like a prisoner in my own home. It seems like a total disaster.

It's a frustrating predicament, let me tell you. I was tinkering around in my glove compartment and now the car/auto is locked tight, and my keys are trapped inside. I've tried all sorts of things to get in: poking the handle, looking for a spare key, even trying to force it open with a credit card/piece of plastic. Nothing is working! I'm starting to feel like I'm living my worst nightmare.
